This code appears on some LG front-load and top-load washing machines fitted with leak protection, and means the leak sensor in the base detected water, so the washer stops the cycle and may run the drain pump. How to diagnose5

1. Turn off the water tap, unplug the washer and dry the floor around it.
2. Make sure the drain filter is closed tightly and the hose connections at the back are tight and not cracked.
3. Look at the door seal for tears or trapped clothing, and make sure you use a suitable detergent in the right amount.
4. Do not tilt the washer to dry the base before the leak source is found, because the code will come back.
5. A technician unplugs the washer before opening it, traces the leak in the internal hoses, pump and tub, then dries the base and checks the leak sensor.

1. Close the drain filter tightly and tighten the hose connections.
2. Use a suitable detergent in the right amount if suds are the cause.
3. Replace the leaking internal hose or connection.
4. Replace the door seal or drain pump depending on the leak source.
