What it means

The engine computer uses the barometric pressure (BARO) reading to adjust fuel delivery and ignition timing for altitude. It has found that this reading does not agree with other pressure sensors or with a plausible value, so it set this code and may use a substitute value that slightly reduces performance.

With the engine off and the key on, compare the BARO and MAP readings on a scan tool; they should be close.
Compare the reading with the actual local air pressure, allowing for altitude.
Inspect the connector and wiring, and measure the supply and ground against the manufacturer specification.
Check the service information to see whether the sensor is separate or built into the engine computer before replacing parts.
