1. Turn off the tap under the sink and unplug the dishwasher right away, and dry the floor.
2. Check the detergent: hand dishwashing liquid alone can cause this code.
3. Inspect and clean the door seal, and make sure the machine is level and the door closes tightly.
4. Check the visible inlet and drain hose connections under the sink.
5. A technician unplugs the machine before removing the lower panel, then traces the leak in the hoses and pumps.
6. Drying the base pan or tilting the machine may clear the code for a while, but that is only a fix after the technician has found and repaired the water source.

1. Use only dishwasher detergent, and run a rinse cycle to clear remaining suds.
2. Clean or replace the door seal and level the machine.
3. Tighten the external hose connections or replace a damaged hose.
4. The technician repairs the leaking internal hose or pump, then dries the base pan and sensor.
5. The technician replaces the leak sensor if it is faulty with no water present.
6. Run a supervised cycle and confirm there is no water under the machine and the code does not return.
