Complete silence from the bottom of the machine at drain time.

How to diagnose5

Unplug the machine, and wait for the water to cool if it was a hot program.
Prepare a towel and flat tray, and open the pump filter slowly to drain the water in batches.
With the filter out, check the impeller turns and remove any object.
Refit the filter and run a drain-only program.
If the pump does not run, the technician unplugs the machine, measures its coil against the manufacturer specification and checks the wiring and board.
