What it means

The yaw rate sensor measures how fast the car rotates around its vertical axis, and stability control relies on it to tell whether the car is sliding. This code sets when messages from this sensor stop reaching the network. On some vehicles the sensor is a separate module under a seat or in the center console; on others it is built into the ABS or airbag module.

Check the floor around the sensor for water or moisture, and inspect its connector.
Measure power and ground at the sensor connector with the key on.
Check the CAN lines to the sensor and compare their resistance with the manufacturer specification.

Replace the blown fuse and charge a weak battery.
Dry the sensor area, fix the water leak, then clean the connector.
Repair damaged power or network wiring.
Replace the sensor module if proven faulty, then calibrate it with a scan tool if the manufacturer requires it.
